BROTHERS BY BLOOD. BONDED BY SOUND
THE BAND IN THE BAR YOU'VE BEEN DYING TO SEE
The 78 Sound is the very literal band of brothers, born out of Queensland’s Darling Downs. It would be no stretch of the imagination to say that country music runs deep through the veins of Ben, Clayton, and Morgan. As third generation country musicians, the boys are proudly carrying on with the family trade.
The boys have taken their blood harmonies, sibling stage banter, and high energy live show from their hometown of Warwick, QLD, right across the country, captivating audiences with their fresh take on traditional and contemporary country sounds. Drawing inspiration from 90s heavy hitters like Vince Gill, Brad Paisley and Brooks & Dunn, as well as current superstars like Luke Combs and Keith Urban, the boys create a sound that is as steeped in tradition as it is uniquely their own.
The last few years have seen the boys as busy as they've ever been. In the last 12 months alone they've ticked off a few bucket list shows, including a spot on the 2025 Urban Country Music Festival lineup alongside Australian country music heavy hitters Travis Collins and Beccy Cole. A slot on the Big Skies 2024 lineup, their Tamworth debut, as well as appearances on CMC, Savannah and Strummingbird stages as a part of Denvah's touring band.
From Boulia to Brisbane, Tamworth to the Sydney, The 78 Sound are the band in the bar you've been dying to see.
